Headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, Fast Shafts has been producing driveshafts for race cars since 1992, and the staff at Fast Shafts takes pride in building each driveshaft to exact specifications.

Owner Pat Fagen has been involved in racing since 1982 and has over a quarter-century of on-track testing experience, and all Fast Shafts drive shafts are balanced using only the finest balancing equipment.

King of America VII takes place March 23-25 and features the nation’s best dirt modified drivers racing at the Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kan., for $10,000-to-win and $1,000-to-start Saturday’s championship race.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7:30 on Thursday and Friday. Saturday’s start time is 6:30.

Utilizing Fast Shafts, Zack VanderBeek captured last crown after a thrilling late-race battle with 2014 winner Rodney Sanders. Jason Hughes was the 2015 champion, Ryan Gustin won in 2013, Stormy Scott topped the 2012 event and Kelly Shryock claimed the inaugural King of America crown in 2011.

Thursday will be a $3,000-to-win points race and the season’s first event in the MSD Central Region presented by Summit Racing.

On Friday, each driver will compete in three heat races from three different starting positions. Passing points will be combined for all three heats with the top 12 in overall points locked into Saturday’s “A” Main.

Saturday will feature an “alphabet soup” of feature races and last-chance races as drivers try to claw their way into a spot in the $10,000-to-win, $1,000-to-start finale.

The Iron Man Challenge featuring Out-Pace USRA B-Mods will run a complete show of heat races and main events all three days, racing for $600 to win Thursday, $1,500 to win Friday and $1,000 to win Saturday.

Every lap of every race will be broadcast live via pay-per-view by www.RacinDirt.com.

There will be an open practice for all drivers on Wednesday, March 22, from 6-9 p.m.
