Rancho Milagro Bonus Bucks already padding wallets of USMTS competitors

Rancho Milagro Bonus Bucks already padding wallets of USMTS competitors

Forty-three USMTS regional points races were held at 33 dirt ovals in 12 states during the 2017 “playoff” season from Feb. 9 through July 22, setting the stage for the USMTS Hunt for the Casey’s Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental.

All main events during The Hunt award no less than $3,000 to the winner, but for the 28 drivers qualified for this year’s championship points chase, even more is possible thanks to Rancho Milagro.

The USMTS National Championship will consist of two or three regions where drivers earn points to qualify for The Hunt. Drivers qualifying through a single region will get a $1,000 bonus for winning a feature race during The Hunt (that's $4,000 to win).

If a driver qualifies through two regions, the Rancho Milagro Bonus Bucks climb to $1,500 ($4,500 to win), and qualifying through all three regions earns you a $2,000 bonus, making a win during The Hunt worth $5,000.

Thursday night at the Springfield Raceway, Tyler Wolff won his first United States Modified Touring Series main event. By earning points toward the USMTS Hunt for the Casey’s Cup in two regions, his paycheck was boosted to $4,500.

Zack VanderBeek, Cade Dillard, Dereck Ramirez, Stormy Scott and Adam Kates are all racing for a $5,000 top prize during the USMTS Hunt for the Casey’s Cup.

A $4,500 payday awaits Ryan Gustin, Jason Hughes, Joe Duvall, R.C. Whitwell, Wolff, Travis Saurer, Ricky Thornton Jr. and Johnny Scott if they can get to victory lane.

Chris Brown, Jake Timm, Mike Densberger, Jacob Bleess, Curt Myers, Trevor Egbert, Cory Crapser, Chris Clark, Lucas Schott, Zane DeVilbiss, Cory Mahder, Austin Arneson, Kyle Prauner, Lance Town and Terry Phillips are each racing for $4,000 to win with the Rancho Milagro Bonus Bucks piled on.

Located in Taos, N.M., Rancho Milagro grow organic hay for dairies, operates a Mother Cow calf operation and is heavily involved in team roping. The group's main ranch is called and Top of The World Ranch and the Healy Foundation funds multiple land and water issues in the region.
