Traditionally, the Labor Day Weekend is celebrated by most Americans as the symbolic end of the summer and is often regarded as a time of rest and relaxation, but for the drivers and teams in The Hunt for the USMTS Casey’s General Stores National Championship, it’s a time to turn wrenches in the heat of the day, crawl around in the dirt changing rear-end gears, grind tires, straighten sheet metal, tune engines, strap on the helmet and mash the gas pedal, then load up the hauler, head down the highway in the dead of night and do it all over again the next day.
