Two USMTS fans “Hit the Dirt” with Dirt Track Racing School
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Have you always wondered what it feels like behind the wheel of a Dirt Modified? For the second consecutive year, the Dirt Track Racing School has teamed up with the USMTS to make this vision a reality by giving away a "Hit the Dirt" Modified experience to two lucky race fans.
The Dirt Track Racing School, located in Charlotte, N.C., offers a unique driving experience for fans and racers alike. Not only can students experience what it's like to drive on dirt in a professionally prepared racecar, but they can also feel the difference between driving an open-wheel Modified, Late Model, Legends Car and Sprint Car on dirt.
The winners will be chosen at the conclusion of the Hunt for the USMTS Casey's General Stores National Championship powered by Swan Energy at the 13th Annual Fall Jamboree at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., on Sept. 24.
"I'm excited for the Dirt Track Racing School to partner with USMTS again in 2011,” said Dirt Track Racing School President Shawn Parker. “It's an excellent racing organization that is doing some great things for modified racing and grassroots motorsports. We have a lot of students from all over the United States, and the association with a national Modified tour series is a great way for us to connect with die-hard dirt racing fans throughout the country."
The Dirt Track Racing School concept offers both racers and fans alike the chance to drive on dirt in four different types of racecars. Each kind of racecar offers students a different driving experience, and prices vary across cars, offering value for money for different budgets. In addition to our regular classes, the Dirt Track Racing School also offers specialized programs tailored to fit the individual needs of racers, race fans and groups.
The Dirt Track Racing School operates year-round at the historic Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, N.C. The racetrack is located just 25 minutes from uptown Charlotte and 45 minutes from Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord. Private classes, group outings and corporate programs are available.
