Mother Nature denies USMTS weekend at Boothill Speedway
The Summit USMTS National Championship presented by RacinDirt was supposed to be back in action this Friday and Saturday, April 12-13, at the Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, La., for the 11th Annual USMTS Cajun Clash.
Mother Nature, unfortunately, has other plans and continually heavy rainfall this week has forced officials to cancel the entire weekend and look forward to the next event on the calendar.
Tentatively, the Cajun Clash (in name anyway) has been eliminated but the Summit USMTS Modifieds will return to the Boothill Speedway for a three nights on Halloween Weekend as part of the USRA Southern Nationals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct- 31 through Nov. 2.
More details are forthcoming.
Up next for the USMTS is the ARMI Contractors USMTS Spring Salute on Friday, April 19, at the Arrowhead Speedway in Colcord, Okla., followed by the USMTS Juggernaut on Saturday, April 20, at the Tri-State Speedway, Pocola, Okla.
