Geddes Racing Engines provides power to Western Flyer Race Cars

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Geddes Racing Engines – a full-service automotive machine shop located in Colorado Springs, Colo. – has partnered with Western Flyer Race Cars to meet the supply for the demands of drivers competing in B-Mod/HotMod and other similar open-wheel dirt track racing divisions for a powerful yet economic engine solution.

After an extensive research and development phase, Geddes Racing Engines began manufacturing these powerplants during the 2011 racing season to satisfy the Limited Modified/SportMod engine market. They have used their knowledge from years of building winning race engines to significantly improve the performance of these engines.

After building and testing an engine for Western Flyer Race Cars owner/driver Randy Timms, drivers can now place their orders for these engines. They will be available at the Western Flyer Race Cars location in Oklahoma City, Okla., or can be shipped directly to the customer. For more information about Western Flyer Race Cars, call 405-820-0893.

This partnership will allow Western Flyer Race Cars to offer their customers turn-key racecars. With the recent release of the 2012 engine rules for some divisions, the staff at Geddes Racing Engines feel there will be even more power available and is already hard at work on a new engine for dyno testing in December 2011.

Timms will be competing at this weekend’s 5th Annual USMTS Texas Winter Nationals, Nov. 17-19, at the Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas, in both the Limited Modified and USMTS Modified programs using Geddes Racing Engines power in both divisions.

With over 17 years of high-performance engine building experience, Geddes Racing Engines can fulfill all of your engine needs for drivers at any level and form of motorsports competition. From stock, restoration, high performance to diesel performance we have built winning engines for all types of racing including NASCAR touring, NHRA drag racing, the USMTS, ASA Late Model Series, Jeep Speed, IMCA, BITD and SCORE off-road racing.
