ALTOONA, Iowa -- The deadline to get your reserved tickets for this year’s United States Modified Touring Series awards banquet is Sunday, January 15.

The USMTS awards banquet is open to drivers, fans, media and sponsors. Tickets are available by calling 515-832-7944, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The awards banquet will be held Friday, January 20, at the Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino located at 1 Prairie Meadows Drive in Altoona, Iowa.

2011 USMTS National Champion Ryan Gustin, USMTS Rookie of the Year Jason Grimes plus many others will be honored at this year’s gala.

Tickets are $40 per person and include a Premier Dinner Buffet with the choice of three entrees, cash bar and a live comedian on stage following the awards ceremony. Business casual attire is recommended.

In addition, the awards for drivers competing in the USRA Weekly Racing Series will also be honored.

Adventureland Inn will be the host hotel for the banquet with shuttles to and from Prairie Meadows. There are currently about 100 rooms available for Friday night at a rate of $89. Call 515-265-7321 to reserve your room today using the promotion code USMTS/USRA.

Social hour runs from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., dinner will be from 7:00 to 8:00, the USRA awards presentations will take place from 8:00 to 9:00 and the USMTS awards will be handed out from 9:00 to 10:00.
