ENTRY FEES
Thursday - early entry is $90 for licensed or $100 for non-licensed; late or at-the-track entry is $110. Friday and Saturday - early entry is $125 for licensed or $135 for non-licensed; late or at-the-track entry is $150. Early entries must be received or postmarked by February 10, 2012. LICENSES
There is no requirement to purchase a USMTS license to compete in any USMTS event. However, benefits enjoyed by licensed drivers include provisionals, higher event purses and bonus payouts, increased tow money, discounted entry fees, points funds, increased media recognition, a personalized driver profile page on the USMTS website and more. The cost of a USMTS Casey’s Cup license is $150 and the cost of a USMTS National Championship license is $300.
RULES & PROCEDURES
All USMTS rules apply. Qualifying will be done by heat race passing points and “B” Mains. Draw for heat race starting spot ends 15 minutes before hot laps. RACEceivers and AMB transponders are mandatory and available for rent or purchase from the USMTS. The American Racer KK704/G60 is the Official Tire of the USMTS; however, the stamped Hoosier G60 is also permitted for this event. Weight: 2,400 lbs. if using a Flat Tappet/Steel Head Engine with 23-degree valve angle or Brodix Aluminum Spec Head Engine; 2,350 lbs. if using Flat Tappet/Brodix Aluminum Spec Head Engine; 2,450 lbs. if using steel or aluminum heads with a 23-degree valve angle; 2,500 lbs. if using steel or aluminum raised runner heads, or less than a 23-degree valve angle; 2,300 lbs. if using a Crate Engine. Must have 50 lbs. in front of mid-plate if using aluminum heads other than Brodix Aluminum Spec Heads. Spoiler: Maximum 7 if using Flat Tappet/Steel Head Engine, Brodix Aluminum Spec Head Engine or Crate Engine; Maximum 5 if using any other steel or aluminum heads other than Brodix Aluminum Spec Heads.
