SPRING VALLEY, Minn. -- The 14th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree – the undisputed marquee event for America’s most talented Modified drivers on dirt – takes place at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., Wednesday through Saturday, Sept. 19-22.

While the racing is serious business, fun and games (and possibly some serious cash) are in store for golfers again this year at the annual Fall Jamboree Golf Scramble where participants will find themselves chasing birdies at one of the most scenic golf courses in Southern Minnesota.

Located just minutes from the racetrack, the Oak Summit Golf Course in Rochester will host this year’s Fall Jamboree Golf Scramble on Friday, Sept. 21. The tournament will begin at 9:15 a.m.

Several great items will be given away, including drivers, clubs, putters, balls, hats, shirts and shoes. A meal will be served at the turn in the club house. Dozens of flag prizes and post-tournament awards will be up for grabs. There will be cash prizes for the longest drive on two holes, longest putt on two holes and closet to the pin on two holes.

As in the past, the format for this year’s outing will be a four-person best-ball contest with a Texas-style shotgun start. Enter your full team or enter for yourself and we will place you with others.

Entry is $100 per person and covers all cash prizes and giveaways, golf and cart along with a $360 skin game and the meal. Drivers, crewmembers, sponsors and fans alike are invited to join in the fun. Enter before Thursday, Sept. 20, and save $25 on your entry fee!

The grand prize will be four complimentary hotel rooms at the luxurious MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas. The winner must provide his/her own transportation to Las Vegas. In addition, if your foursome goes during the week (any day Monday through Thursday), you will also enjoy four free rounds of golf at Shadow Creek Golf Club (a $500 per person value)!

Oak Summit Golf Course opened in 1992 when Leon DeCook decided to convert his farm land into a golf course. Three complete shows are on tap at the high-banked 3/8-mile clay oval for this year’s Featherlite Fall Jamboree. The annual event will also feature USRA B-Mods in action all three nights with a combined total purse of more than $200,000 during the week!
