FORT DODGE, Iowa -- While the drivers basked in the spotlight throughout the night at the USMTS awards banquet on Friday, Feb. 8, the crew members were not forgotten.

CPD Racing Tools presented the USMTS Crew Chief of the Year Award to Joey “Joe Bob” Ciechanowski. This was the second straight time that the crew chief of Gustin’s Gressel Racing team took home the top honors.

In addition to unique plaques to commemorate his accomplishment, Ciechanowski also received a cash award for his efforts in 2012.

According to the company’s owner and founder, Denny Fuller, CPD Racing Tools will be sponsoring all three regions as well as The Hunt for the USMTS Casey’s Cup in 2013, with plaques and cash prizes that will be awarded at the year-end banquet.
