Helicopter crash claims lives of two Lucas Oil employees


CROSS TIMBERS, Mo. -- A helicopter crash in Cross Timbers, Mo., claimed the lives of two Lucas Oil employees on Friday, May 24. The pilot, William Higginbotham, 32, of Arizona, and a co-employee, Catalina Richard, 21, of Missouri perished in the crash, which occurred at approximately 6 p.m. Central Time near the Harry Truman Reservoir area.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the aviation authorities.

Everyone at Lucas Oil Products is deeply saddened by this tragic accident and the loss of these two fine young people. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Will Higginbotham and Catalina Richard during this most difficult time. They will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
