
RPM Speedway USMTS event highlighted by ElbowsUp.com pre-race VIP Party
CRANDALL, Texas -- After the United States Modified Touring Series event at the RPM Speedway in March, it left fans wanting to see even more of the series drivers.
So, track officials are going to give fans what they want by offering a pre-race VIP Party presented by ElbowsUp.com when the USMTS Modifieds return to the RPM Speedway on Friday, June 28, for the running of the Town East Ford “Built Ford Tough 50.”
The VIP Party will allow race fans some “one-on-one” time with many of the top USMTS drivers. VIP Party attendees can get autographs, purchase driver apparel, bypass the general admission ticket lines and much more.
Currently, several drivers have confirmed their attendance at the gig, including:
• Rodney Sanders of Happy, Texas (winner of the March 15 USMTS event at RPM Speedway)
• Stormy Scott of Las Cruces, N.M. (2012 USMTS Rookie of the Year; currently top 5 in all three USMTS regions)
• Jason Hughes of Watts, Okla. (more than 100 USMTS victories; 2010 USMTS national champion)
• Zack VanderBeek of New Sharon, Iowa (21 career USMTS wins)
• Trevor Hunt of Kearney, Mo. (14-year old with 11 USRA B-Mod wins in 2012; current USMTS rookie point leader)
• Chris Brown of Spring, Texas (more than 100 career modified wins, including Texas Motor Speedway)
• Johnny Scott of Las Cruces, N.M. (former $15,000 USRA Fall Nationals winner; twin brother of Stormy Scott)
Even more drivers may be added as they are confirmed.
The pre-race VIP Party will be held from 6-6:30 p.m. between the gate next to the RPM Speedway souvenir stand and the pit area. You must show your VIP armband to gain admittance to the event. Armbands will be provided upon your arrival at the VIP ticket window.
To become eligible for the VIP Party, fans much purchase their event tickets on the track website at www.RPMSpeedwayTX.com any time from now through June 27 (the night before the event).
Purchasing tickets in advance will also allow those fans the right to bypass the general admission ticket line and go directly to the VIP ticket window line located next to the main entrance to the grandstand.
There is no added cost for advance ticket purchases or to get your VIP armband for the party. The only requirement for admittance to the pre-race VIP Party is to purchase your tickets in advance.
The pit gate opens at 3 p.m. and the grandstand gates swing open at 5 p.m. The pre-race Race VIP Party presented by ElbowsUp.com will be held from 6-6:30 p.m. Hot laps are slated for 6:45 with the first green flag scheduled to unfurl at 7:30 p.m.
Adults grandstand tickets are just $17, seniors ages 65 and older or active military get in for $15, kids ages 6-12 are $5 and children ages 5 and under are free with adult purchase. Pit passes are $35. You can purchase your tickets in advance at the track website or at the general admission window on race night.

Joining the high-powered USMTS Modifieds will be an RPM Speedway points night for three racing divisions and will pay $750 to win Limited Modifieds with $500 each going to the winners of the Factory Stocks and Street Stock main events. The draw cut-off for RPM points drivers it 7 p.m. sharp. Mandatory track packing will take place from 7-7:30 p.m. for all race divisions.
