Team Report: Graham completes 8-in-10 Tour

Pat Graham and the 1k Racing Team completed their 8 races in 10 days tour with a stop at the I-35 Speedway in Mason City on Tuesday June 11th. After picking up a 5th place finish in the heat race, Pat would advance to the feature with a 4th place finish in the B Feature. Pat would start 19th in the 30 lap main and finish 13th.

The next night the team traveled to the Amsoil Speedway in Superior, Wisconsin. After picking up a 8th place finish in the heat, and a 9th place finish in the B feature, Pat would start 24th in the feature, and picked up a 17th place finish.

The following night, the team headed to Eagle Valley Speedway in Jims Falls, Wisconsin. Unfortunately, the driver of the 1k Skyrocket Chassis didn't qualify for the A feature after 7th place finish in the heat, and a 9th place finish in the B feature.

The final race track and two nights for the 1k Racing Team was a stop at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin as apart of the " The Masters Classic" on June 14th and 15th.
On June 14th, Pat would advance to the 35 lap A feature with a 5th place finish in the B Feature. The driver of the Casey's General Stores 1k would start 22nd and work his way up to a 13th place finish in the feature.

On June 15th, Mother Nature picked up the win with another rain out.

The team next schedule event will be at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota on July 6th for the $3000.00 to win Gopher 50 event.

Overall we had a great time and making all the shows but the Jim falls race. At the Cedar Lake race we lined up for the B-feature needing to pass either Ryan Gustin, Ron Jones, or Kelly Shyrock to advance to the main event. These are all former USMTS national champions, the Skyrocket chassis and Karl Performance power plant were up to the task and Kelly and I passed Ron Jones at the same time down the backstretch with 2 laps to go to advance to the A-feature, as many we left to watch from the sidelines, It was very gratifying to make this event!! A huge thanks to all the help these last two weeks from Ernie Mitchell, my parents, Kelly Shryock, Ed Ward, and the promoters who have fought the weather to get these shows in!
