Heartland Auto Racing Show to sponsor USMTS Pacesetter Award
DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Heartland Auto Racing Show is proud to announce that it will be sponsoring the Pacesetter Awards for the United States Modified Touring Series during the “Clash of the Titans” event at the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa.
The USMTS is teaming up with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for two races this July that are destined to be the biggest events in the history of Modified and Late Model racing. The “Clash of the Titans” events will take place on Tuesday, July 16, at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., and the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa, on Wednesday, July 17.
The USMTS Modifieds will be running a 40-lap feature race each night and 50 laps is the distance for the Lucas Oil Late Models.
Each of the top 3 in the running order at the end of the first lap of the USMTS Modified main event Wednesday will share in the “Heartland Auto Racing Show Pacesetter Award” prize money for that lap, along with a mystery position that will be drawn by the race winner.
Representatives from the Heartland Auto Racing Show will be present for the event and look forward to speaking with the racers and manufacturers in attendance.
