USMTS to Cedar Lake Speedway Friday-Saturday, Eagle Valley Speedway Sunday
NEW RICHMOND, Wis.—The United States Modified Touring Series is back in action this weekend for a tripleheader of dirt slinging in the Dairy State.
On Friday and Saturday, June 13-14, the USMTS Modifieds join the UMP Late Models “Hell Tour” at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., for two nights of action during the 16th Annual Masters.
Adult tickets are $25 on Friday and $30 on Saturday. Kids ages 6 to 16 are half price and children ages 5 and under are free.
Pits open each day at 3 p.m., grandstands open at 5:30 and racing begins at 7 p.m.
The Cedar Lake Speedway is a high-banked 3/8-mile clay oval located 1 mile east of SR 35 on SR 64, then 4.2 miles north on CR C to CR CC, then left 1.8 miles. For more information, call 612-363-0479 or 715-248-7119 or check out www.cedarlakespeedway.com online.

Pits open at 4 p.m. and spectator gates swing open at 4:30. Hot laps start at 5:30 and the green flag will drop at 6 p.m. Also competing will be Midwest Modifieds, Street Stocks and Pure Stocks.

With just this weekend’s three shows left to put the cap on the bottle in the Farm Boy BBQ Sauce Northern Region presented by Day Motor Sports, Zack VanderBeek is in good position to take down the regional crown and the accompanying $5,000.
He leads Stormy Scott by 58 points (738 to 680) while the younger of the twin brothers, Johnny Scott, is another 18 markers behind with 662.
