WEBSTER CITY, Iowa— Thursday’s event at the Hamilton County Speedway featuring the United States Modified touring Series has been rained out.

The series returns to the Chateau Raceway in Lansing, Minn., on Friday. The event is sponsored by Powder Werks, Y Waste Removal and Yeager Machine.

Hot laps will be at 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. Grandstand ticket prices are $18 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and children 5 and under are free. Pits passes are $30.

Race fans can pick up coupons good for $2 off adult admission at Casey’s General Stores locations in Austin and Blooming Prairie. Daniel Hilsabeck and his No. 22d AMP Energy Modified will be on location at the Casey’s store located at 1702 12th St. SW in Austin from 11:30-1:30.

The Chateau Raceway is a 1/3-mile semi-banked gumbo clay oval located 5.0 miles north of Austin on US 218 (Lansing Exit), then 1.3 miles east on CR 2, then 0.4 mile south on CR 25, then 0.3 mile east on 266th St. For more information call 507-391-2486 or check out www.chateauraceway.net online.

From there, the Hunt for the USMTS Casey’s Cup heads to the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., for the 9th Annual Labor Day Dual on Saturday, and then wraps up the Labor Day Weekend on Sunday at the Cresco Speedway in Cresco, Iowa, for the 12th Annual Cresco Bowl.
