GREENVILLE, Texas—Thanks to a wintry, rainy start to the month of March in North Texas, the kick-off to the USMTS Double H Bands Southern Region presented by Day Motor Sports was postponed last weekend and will now happen April 9-11.

The Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas, will get things started on Thursday, April 9, and the RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas, will see the fire-breathing USMTS Modifieds return on Friday, April 10.

Due to commitments with other area racetracks they are working with, officials at the Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore, Texas, will not be able to host a make-up event during that weekend but may schedule a show sometime later this season.

The Saturday, April 11, event will now take place at the Longdale Speedway in Longdale, Okla.—a new facility beginning their second year of racing.
