USMTS signs five-race deal with MAVTV
CORONA, Calif.—The USMTS has signed a deal with MAVTV to televise five events that will be tape-delayed broadcast on the growing cable network. The line-up will begin with the upcoming King of America V Modified Nationals which will take place March 26-28 at the Humboldt (Kan.) Speedway. The next event that will be televised will be the World Modified Dirt Track Championships at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., which will take place July 24-26. The final three shows will be taped throughout The Hunt for the USMTS Casey's National Championship for one show and the final two shows will be the 17th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree that will take place the last weekend of September at Deer Creek.
Each show will be one hour in length with coverage and highlights of qualifying events and the main event broadcast in its entirety. The Hunt recap will be the third show and will feature a bunch of select races that were held during The Hunt, leading up to the finale that will be held at the Featherlite Fall Jamboree. The first two nights of the Jamboree will be the first show and the final night will be the final show of the 2015 race season.
We are very excited for this next step in brigning the USMTS brand to a national audience. Not only will this be a great opportunity for the USMTS, but the exposure for our drivers and their sponsors will be fantastic. Koel Communications, which produced the Dirt Knights television program, will be producing the show for MAVTV, with our partners at RacinDirt.com also playing a big role in bringing these shows to your living room.
MAVTV was founded in 2002 by four former Showtime executives and was originally geared towards a male-dominated audience. In 2011, MAVTV was purchased by Lucas Oil Products, which employed similar strategies to building the Lucas Oil brand to transform MAVTV into a premier cable network with a focus on the modern American family and significant enhancements to the network including investments in programming, updated on-air look and increased production quality... all to add more value to the consumer experience. MAVTV continues to grow daily and will never stop its mission to deliver the highest quality HD programming possible. Check out www.mavtv.com to learn more.
Depending on ratings and programming, the MAVTV show will be broadcast at least two times, so be sure to check with your cable or satellite provider to make sure you’re getting MAVTV at your house.
