Houston, Sprinkle return to USMTS in 2016 for Lone Star State 1-2 punch

ANDREWS, Texas—Philip Houston of Odessa, Texas, has been a regular fixture at United States Modified Touring Series events throughout the year, and fans can expect even more in 2016.

Shane Sprinkle, owner of S&S Fishing & Rental, will be the driving force behind Houston's efforts as the duo continue their long-term partnership.

“Philip and I have been good friends for a long time,” Sprinkle said. “Philip and his entire family are just excellent people, and I am grateful that I have the resources to help his racing program.”

Based in Andrews, Texas, Sprinkle's S&S Fishing & Rental is adorned on several racecars throughout the region, including Cade Dillard of Robeline, La., who was announced recently as Sprinkle's second team gunning for the 2016 USMTS National Championship.

“Our deal with Cade in no way effects what we already have going on with Philip's team,” Sprinkle added, noting that both drivers will have their own modifieds and haulers, and each will maintain their machines in their own respective shops.

S&S Fishing and Rental was the title sponsor of the USMTS Southern Region, but in 2015 the company expanded its partnership with the USMTS to become the presenting sponsor of the USMTS Casey's Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental.

Established in 2011, S&S Fishing and Rental, Inc., employees have over 100 combined years of experience in the downhole fishing and rental market for the oil and gas industry. Their primary goals are to provide exceptional service, quality equipment and to maintain a safe work environment. Their field supervisors and operations support staff helps reduce down time and cost to customers.
