Holley Performance Products acquires MSD Group



EL PASO, Texas—Holley Performance Products is pleased to announce the acquisition of the El Paso, Texas-based MSD Group.

The MSD Group includes iconic brands such as MSD, Mr. Gasket, Accel, Superchips, Edge, Racepak, Mallory, Hays, QuickTime and Lakewood.

The combination of these brands will provide our customers with the most complete offering of performance products in the industry,” said Holley President & CEO, Tom Tomlinson. “We are aggressively developing innovative new products at Holley and we’re going to continue to build upon the fine job the MSD Group is already doing with new products.”

Holley is a leader in the performance automotive aftermarket with products powering race cars and high-performance vehicles found the world over.

Holley was founded in 1903 around the advent of the automobile and has been a supplier to every major American OEM automobile manufacturer. Holley supplied half of the fuel systems in WWII including those for land vehicles, marine vehicles, and aircraft. Its primary focus today is in the high-performance aftermarket where its world famous carburetion has won more races than all others combined.
