Hejna Brothers back on O'Reilly USMTS trail

VENTURA, Iowa -- After a couple weeks off, the United States Modified Touring Series is back on the road, and Hejna Brothers Racing will join the best modified drivers in the Midwest starting Tuesday (07.12.05) night.

On Tuesday, July 12, 2005, Al and Mike Hejna travel to Mineral City Speedway in Fort Dodge, IA as the USMTS gets back to racing after a two week break. This will mark the first time the USMTS and the Hejna Brothers have stopped at the track.

"It seems like for ever since we've raced, and we're excited about racing at this new track in our back yard," commented Al Hejna about the race at the Fort Dodge, IA race track. "This should be a great chance for our fans to see us race close to home."

For those who are not able to attend, RaceRPM.com will have updates through the night to keep track of the Hejna Brothers Racing progress through the night. Race fans can log on to www.RaceRPM.com Tuesday night for updates uploaded throughout the night.

The next night the tour heads to the Southern Iowa Speedway (Oskaloosa, IA). Then on Thursday and Friday is the "Night of 1,000 Stars) and the Hancock County Speedway (Britt, IA). The Night of 1,000 Stars is an unsanctioned event that should attract a lot of the USMTS regulars. On Saturday night, Hejna Brothers Racing is scheduled to compete at Jackson Speedway (Jackson, MN) in the Jackson Nationals (a USMTS points paying event).

"It's been a while since we've raced at Cresco Speedway," Mike Hejna said about the racing set for Sunday, July 17, 2005. "We're looking forward to the USMTS race Sunday night there in Cresco, Iowa. The fans are always great to us there, and the track usually produces some great racing."

RaceRPM.com will be on hand for a live radio web cast that night (www.RaceRPM.com).
