7:43PM

Factory Stocks are on the track for their first of three heat races, followed by three Limited Mod heats and then eight--count 'em--eight USMTS Modified heat races. The top 12 drivers in passing points will be locked into the “A” Main with the top 8 re-drawing for starting positions 1-8. the rest of the 26-car feature will have the top three finishers from each of the four Real Racing Wheels "B" Mains plus two USMTS provisional starters for the 40-lap main event.

8:10PM

Heat Race Lineups (8 laps each):

MSD HEAT RACE #1 (8 laps): After starting sixth, Kyle Strickler slides by Thomas Tillison jr. with two laps to go to take the win. Chase Hatton, Jesse Sobbing (from 9th) and Larry Clevenger round out the top five.

FAST SHAFTS HEAT RACE #2 (8 laps): George Egbert IV leads from start to finish from the outside of the front row with Jason Hughes charging to second from the fifth spot. Rookie of the Year points leader Tyler Wolff, Adam Penn and Garrett Gregory finish third through fifth.

EDELBROCK HEAT RACE #3 (8 laps): Chris Brown used his outside front row starting spot to claim the win in the third heat race. Austin Arneson and Jason Ingalls gave chase but had to settle for second and third at the finish line. Shawn Gaddis was fourth and Josh Beckham wound up fifth.

PBM PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS HEAT RACE #4 (8 laps): From the third starting spot, Rodney Sanders blows the field away in the fourth qualifying heat, and that should place the 2013-14 USMTS national champ in tonight's top-8 redraw. Polesitter Donnie Powers comes home second, followed by Lucas Lee, Todd Shute and Cody Bauman.

HORSESHOE BOSSIER CITY HEAT RACE #5 (8 laps): North Dakota's Billy Vogel holds off a pack of wild dogs to win the fifth heat race. Steve Whiteaker Jr. gets by B.J. Robinson on the final lap to grab the runner-up spot while Brock Bauman was a close fourth. Fito Gallardo came from the back to get fifth.

RACINDIRT.COM HEAT RACE #6 (8 laps): A talent-rich sixth heat saw Bobby Malchus run away and hide while Terry Phillips came out ahead of Zack VanderBeek in a great race-long battle for second. Philip Houston rebounded from an early-race slip over the embankment to get fourth and Steve Miller took the fifth position.

RACERWEBSITE.COM HEAT RACE #7 (8 laps): Continuing a strong weekend, Jamie Burford holds off fellow Louisiana racer Cade Dillard from start to finish to take the win. Tommy Fain grabs third, Kyle Cummings was fourth and Clyde Dunn Jr. narrowly beats defending USRA Texas Outlaw Modified Series champ Triston Dycus for the fifth spot.

S&S FISHING & RENTAL HEAT RACE #8 (8 laps): It took Ryan 'The Reaper' Gustin just one lap to come from the third row to the lead, and that's right where he stayed for the rest of the contest. Ralo Plkington finished second ahead of David Winslett, and Timothy Culp bounced back from a caution with three laps to go to take fourth ahead of Ben Kates.

 8:55PM

The Factory Stock "B" Main is taking to the track now and the Limited Mod consolation will follow that. We should be going into USMTS Real Racing Wheels "B" Mains between 9:20-9:30.

Real Racing Wheels "B" Main Lineups (15 laps each, top 3 from each advance to the "A" Main):

REAL RACING WHEELS “B” MAIN #1 (15 laps, top 3 advance): Austin Arneson dominates the first Real Racing Wheels "B" Main with Ralo Pilkington and Austin Siebert finishing second and third to get the other two transfer spots. Fito Gallardo finishes fourth and the first driver looking in from the outside.

REAL RACING WHEELS “B” MAIN #2 (15 laps, top 3 advance): Jesse Sobbing held off Lucas Lee throughout the 15-lapper to take the win. Chris Henigan, a two-time USMTS winner here at his home track, was in a heated battle with Adam Penn for the third spot with four laps to go when the two made contact as Jason Ingalls was going for a pass of both on the outside entering turn 3. The result was Henigan spinning to a stop atop the third turn and Penn suffering a broken suspension. Ingalls took over the spot for the restart, got around Lee for second and held it to the end. Sobbing goes to the main event along with Ingalls and Lee while Jake Gallardo finishes one spot shy of a transfer spot just like his father, Fito, did in the first Real Racing Wheels "B" Main.

REAL RACING WHEELS “B” MAIN #3 (15 laps, top 3 advance): Todd Shute is as advertised. The popular Iowa racer made the long tow to Vivian, La., to compete with the Best of the Best and proved he may be one of them himself by passing Zack VanderBeek and Thomas Tillison Jr. en route to winning the third consolation race. Vanderbeek got by Tillison with two laps to go to claim second in front of Tillison while Timothy Culp finished fourth and will watch the main event from the pits.

REAL RACING WHEELS “B” MAIN #4 (15 laps, top 3 advance): Stormy Scott led the entire distance... almost. Heading down the back-stretch on the final lap, Scott slowed and coasted into the pits while David Winslett came around to claim the victory. Josh Beckham was second and B.J. Robinson was the beneficiary of Scott's misfortune and claimed the third and final transfer spot.

9:47PM

*** Your two provisionals for tonight's 40-lap, $3,000-to-win Production Jars "A" Main will be Scott Drake and Casey Arneson. This is the second provisional used by both drivers who--along with Ben Kates, Tyler Wolff and Joe Duvall--are fresh out of provisionals and won't get a third to use at their disposal until Friday night of next week's tripleheader at the Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Okla.

10:14PM

Drivers are getting ready to roll onto the race track for the 40-lap, $3,000-to-win Production Jars "A" Main. Ryan Gustin and Jason Hughes share the front row. Here's the lineup:

PRODUCTION JARS “A” MAIN (40 laps):

Tough break for Steve Whiteaker Jr. and Cade Dillard. They were late to the track and will have to go to the rear of the field for the start. Dillard was slated to start 6th, Whiteaker 11th. Also, Casey Arneson was a provisional starter but did not come out for the feature.

Lap 3 - The first yellow waves for Josh Beckham who stopped atop turn 4. Jason Hughes leads the restart followed by Ryan Gustin, Chris Brown, Kyle Strickler and Rodney Sanders.

Lap 9 - Shortly after Terry Phillips pulled off the track on the back-stretch, Austin Arneson loops it in turn 3 to bring out the second caution of the race. Hughes continues to lead with Gustin on his heels. Restart Order: Hughes, Gustin, Brown, Strickler, Sanders, Shute, VanderBeek (from 19th), Egbert, Burford, Winslett, Ingalls...

Lap 20 - Hughes, Gustin, Brown, Sanders, Strickler, Shute, VanderBeek, Ingalls, Egbert, Whiteaker, Dillard, Burford...

Lap 25 - Gustin goes by Hughes in lapped traffic to take the lead. Heavy traffic in front of the leaders...

Hughes edges back in front on lap 36 but Gustin battles back to lead lap 37 and holds off Hughes to the finish. Sanders, Brown, Strickler, Shute, VanderBeek, Ingalls, Whiteaker and Dillard round out the top 10.
