Congratulations Zack and Carrie!


NEW SHARON, Iowa - Carrie Ann Long of Cedar and Zackery James VanderBeek of New Sharon were married on Saturday, Dec. 10, at the United Methodist Church in New Sharon.

She is a 2003 graduate of North Mahaska High School and a 2005 graduate of Indian Hills Community College. She is employed at the Pro-Line Building Company in New Sharon.

The groom is the son of Jim and Barb VanderBeek of New Sharon. He is a 2003 graduate of North Mahaska High School. He is currently a full-time racer with the O'Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) and United States Racing Association (USRA) Weekly Racing Series in the Midwest.

The couple plans to honeymoon in the Caribbean and will reside in New Sharon.
