UNIJIG Builders Championship to recognize O’Reilly USMTS chassis manufacturers

<B>REEDSBURG, Wis. --</B> Officials from the O’Reilly USMTS announced today the creation of the UNIJIG Builders Championship to recognize driver performance relative to the various chassis manufacturers that build their winning cars. Points will be awarded throughout the 2006 season to the chassis builders represented in each O’Reilly USMTS main event.

"We're very pleased to announce this new program to recognize the vast array of chassis builders who toil year around to provide O’Reilly USMTS drivers with the fastest and safest equipment available," said O’Reilly USMTS Communications Director Jeff Nun.<table width="180" border="0" align="left" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0"><tr><td class="text10"><img src="http://www.nitroquest.com/clientfiles/images/news/UNIJIG-2.jpg" width="170" height="155"></td></tr></table> "Thanks to support from UNIJIG, fans will be able to follow the UNIJIG Builders Championship points race throughout the season while drivers carry the banner of their car builder like an Olympic athlete representing their nation's flag."

UNIJIG will award a $2,500 certificate towards a UNIJIG universal chassis jig to the driver representing the UNIJIG Builders Championship winning chassis builder. In addition, UNIJIG will make a cash contribution to the season-ending national points fund, and will also award a $25 certificate at each O’Reilly USMTS to the driver who, unfortunately, draws the worst starting position in the re-draw for each main event.

"I am proud to be a part of the USMTS program for '06," said UNIJIG owner and founder Dave Gawronski. "UNIJIG is committed to keeping racers racing. Our goal is for all our customers to make every race with a car that is just as good as new. Our equipment is priced to make the return on investment with only a few jobs, all you need to do is use it. How much faster you'll be by learning as you repair your own equipment is a bonus. I plan to be available at some of the events this season to answer questions and enjoy some great racing."

DCS Performance Engineering out of Reedsburg, Wis., manufactures the UNIJIG -- a universal chassis jig that is designed to fit any type of racing chassis. UNIJIG features repeatability, versatility, durability, and adjustability, to allow chassis from any manufacturer to be worked on and guarantee a consistent product after the repair.

<table width="200" align="right" border="0" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0"><tr><td class="text10"><img src="http://www.nitroquest.com/clientfiles/images/news/UNIJIG-3.jpg" width="190" height="174"></td></tr></table>The UNIJIG incorporates a built-in leveling system, and infinitely adjustable surface for extreme accuracy. Interchange of accessories takes only a few minutes and measuring is kept to a minimum by utilizing "go / no go" gauges.

Bottom line, even if you wreck in a race you're guaranteed to be back with your same baseline set-up next race. No need to scrap months or even years of development progress because the car wasn't the same after the repair.

In addition to the UNIJIG chassis jig, DCS also manufactures a 3-D Measuring System that makes measuring chassis geometry really quick and easy. Portable enough to go to the track, accurate enough to become a staple in any teams set-up program. Great for roll center measurements.
