Tesch sets fast time at Batesville, launches Web site

BATESVILLE, Ark. -- O'Reilly USMTS driver Jon Tesch of Watertown, S.D., scored the fastest time during the Modified Madness at Batesville Speedway Tuesday.

Jon Tesch Racing is also proud to announce the launching the team's new Web site this week.

The $25,000-to-win $2,500-to-start Modified Madness kicked off their five-day program Tuesday night at the Batesville Speedway on Tuesday, May 16. Tesch motored his B & E Concrete/Veeders Collision Center No. 14 GRT Chassi to the fastest time of the night, which guarantees Tesch a starting spot in Saturday night's A-main regardless of how he performs during the next three nights of qualifying.

Tesch, a proud member of the newly formed Barnyard Nation, is joined by Steve Arpin, Corey Dripps, Brad McEwan and Tommy Myer. Arpin put his No. 00 fourth overall by the end of time trials.

The next three nights of racing at Batesville Speedway will qualify 27 cars to the $25,000 grand event. Add in the two fastest from time trials and you will have 29 cars. The 30th starting position will be determined by a random draw of all the non-qualifiers.

The Jon Tesch Racing team is proud to announce the launch of their new web site. Information is being added this week to the site. Race fans will be able to follow along with JTR by logging on to www.JonTeschRacing.com.
