Roll tape: O’Reilly USMTS set for national TV broadcast
<B>CORNING, Iowa --</B> The O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Series rolls into the Adams County Speedway this Thursday, and Short Track Network (STN) will be covering all the fast action at the Corning, Iowa, speedplant for their Midwest Speed Zone show.
This will be the first in a new series of shows going out to over 28 States and over 30 million households.
Vision Sports Entertainment Network TV (VSEN-TV) will broadcast the action. The company will be coming online July 1, and is expected to be in the Direct TV, Dish Network and Mediacom markets by January 2007. Midwest Speed Zone has been picked up by the new network, and Thursday's O’Reilly USMTS event will be the first show of the Midwest Speed Zone on VSEN-TV.
ATTENTION DRIVERS: Drivers can still reserve an in-car camera for the event. Each driver utilizing the in-car camera for the feature event will have their name, car number and primary sponsor on the television screen when cutting to the in-car shots for the show.
Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7 for the 2nd Annual Corning Shootout. O’Reilly USMTS Modifieds will be battling for $2,000 to win, with hobby stocks and pro-streets (tradition rules) also on the racing card with an increased purse. Adult tickets are $15, with kids ages 6 to 12 $5. Children 5 and under get in for FREE.
