HURON, S.D. -- Seven-time defending O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series national champion Kelly Shryock of Fertile, Iowa, picked up his fifth straight win Wednesday in the Inaugural Dakotaland Federal Credit Union Nationals at the Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, S.D.

Brad McEwan jumped into the early lead of the 25-lap Holley "A" Main, and held off Shryock for the first three laps before Shryock was able to slip by for the top spot. From there, Shryock sailed to the checkers with local favorite Kent Arment of Aberdeen, S.D., finishing second. McEwan hung on for third, with Tony Leiker of Gillette, Wyo., in fourth and Blooming Prairie, Minn's. Tommy Myer rounding out the top five finishers.
