<B>KASSON, Minn. --</B> It is fair time in Dodge County ... for the first time in several years stock car racing will return to kick off the 2006 fair.

The O'Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series will make their second appearance of 2006 at the Dodge County Speedway in Kasson, Minn., on Wednesday, July 12, at 7 p.m.

The O'Reilly USMTS Modifieds will be racing for $2,000 to win and Dodge County is the first of a four-race swing for the Series this week.

Gates open at 4 p.m., draw cut-off is at 6 and racing is at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $15, kids 6-12 are $5 and under 5 is free. Pit passes are $25. Also, if you park on the fairgrounds the cost is $4. However, the driver of the car will receive a ticket worth $4 off grandstand admission that can be used that night only. Also on the card will be WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds racing for $600 to win.

A reminder for racers to use the south entrance by the watertower as the normal entrance for the pits wil be closed.

Get there early, ride the rides, eat the awesome fair food and see some great racing action. There is also great entertainment in the beer garden all week afterwards.
