
USMTS returning to HOT Speedway May 10
The United Modified Touring Series announced this week a return to the Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Elm Mott, Texas, for the 8th Annual Spring Nationals on Wednesday, May 10.
Make plans to see the top drivers in the Summit Racing USMTS Southern Region presented by Production Jars, including points leader Cade Dillard, Ricky Thornton Jr., Chris Brown, Jason Hughes, Ryan Gustin and last year's winner, Zack VanderBeek, plus all the other great USMTS drivers from around the region and beyond.
Also on the card for this event will be Limited Mods and Factory Stocks.
This $3,000-to-win event will kick off four straight nights at four different tracks to crown the 2017 Summit Racing USMTS Southern Region champion. After leaving HOT Speedway, the tour will head north to the Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas, on Thursday, May 11, and then wind their way across the metroplex to the Kennedale Speedway Park on Friday, May 12, before heading east to the Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore on Saturday, May 13.
UP NEXT: With 18 shows already in the books in 2017, the tireless USMTS touring titans will fire back up after a 26-day hiatus for a return trip to the Atchison County Raceway in Atchison, Kan., for the 2nd Annual Cage Match on Thursday, April 20. From there, the series rolls through the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City on Friday, April 21, and wraps up the MSD Central Region weekend tripleheader on Sunday, April 22, at the I-35 Speedway in Winston, Mo.
