Lucas Oil Speedway cancels Aug. 11-12 O'Reilly USMTS event
<B>WHEATLAND, Mo. --</B> Officials at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo., have announced some adjustments to the upcoming events scheduled in August and September.
The two-day O'Reilly USMTS show scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Aug. 11-12, has been canceled. A combination of hot weather and the high cost of fuel were the factors that prompted the decision.
“The weather here has just been too hot,” said Lucas Oil Speedway general manager Gary Hubert. “We are working with Todd and his staff at the USMTS office to find a good date this Fall to replace these events.”
