Thank you Kelly ... a note from Ed Sheckler

I have had the privilege to know Kelly Shryock from the first day that my son, Doug, started the United States Modified Series (USMS) to the present with Todd and Janet Staley and the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS).

Though some never realized it, Kelly has always been a "class act."

With his wonderful success, he could rightly be arrogant. Not Kelly. He always is willing to help a fellow competitor, which I can attest to.

What he did at the USMTS Knox County Fair race on August 3 was shocking and incredible to me. I am still in disbelief. Overwhelmed.

Kelly, you are a "true champion" in so many ways. The outpouring of you and Dawn's love for me and my wife, Chris, and my personal struggle will never be forgotten.

For those of you who do no know, this champion, stop by and say hi when you get a chance to see him and you will see the genuine heart of this man.

THANK YOU KELLY and DAWN. I hope we can get together at Knoxville next year. God Bless You!

Sincerely,

Ed & Chris Sheckler
