
Edelbrock renews contingency agreement with USMTS
Edelbrock, LLC, has announced the renewal of their contingency sponsorship agreement with the USMTS for the 2018-19 race season.
Edelbrock has been a USMTS contingency sponsor since 2013, and will again support the USMTS drivers with gift certificates for the winner of the third heat race at each event, and additional awards to the top three finishers in USMTS Hunt for the Casey’s Cup national points at the year-end awards ceremony.
In addition, Edelbrock will also contribute to the points funds for USMTS competitors.

The stars and cars of the USMTS kick off the 2018 campaign with the 9th Annual Summit USMTS Winter Speedweeks presented by MSD Performance.
The Summit USMTS Southern Series presented by Production Jars will open the season with a doubleheader at the South Texas Speedway in Corpus Christi on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 23-24. Then on Sunday, Feb. 25, the action moves to the Texana Raceway in Edna. The South Texas Speedway will also host an open practice on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 6-9 p.m.
On Friday and Saturday, spectator gates open at 6 p.m. with hot laps at 7 and racing at 7:30. Sunday’s show will see gates open at 1 p.m., hot laps start at 4:30 and racing at 5.
