Driver Memo: Competitors get three grace races in 2018

The USMTS will allow a three "grace races" for the 2018 season that will allow a driver to keep their perfect attendance in order. If you see a race on the schedule that you know you cannot make, you can pay now and get the 45 minimum points for that race.

Basically, it will be a full entry for the event and you will earn 45 points. No pay will be paid out to that driver but you will keep your attendance and related bonuses intact.

We will also have a two-race hardship if needed in the case of an emergency. USMTS will need to be notified the week of the accident or emergency, and this will be in addition to the grace races. This will be emergency purposes only or breakdowns en route to the track.
