Swift Springs rewards top national, local USMTS competitors in 2018

Swift Springs is rewarding both the full-time racers and local aces who chase the checkered flag at USMTS events throughout the 2018 racing season.

For their second year as a USMTS contingency sponsor, Swift Springs has upped its involvement for 2018. Swift Springs will award a certificate valued at $99 to the race winner at each show and, new this year, Swift Springs will reward the highest finishing local racer in the main event with a certificate of the same amount.

“We feel it is important to help promote getting new drivers to come to the series when the USMTS is at their track,” said Frank Simonetti, Motorsport Director for Swift Springs. “This helps reward them for the effort that they put in as well as exposes then to the new technology that our springs offers. We need the local racer.”

The 2018 USMTS national champion will also get a set of four Swift Springs at the year-end awards banquet. Drivers can redeem their certificates at any Swift Springs stocking dealer, or through Swift Springs directly. Awards will be doled out at all USMTS Hunt for the Casey’s Cup and Summit USMTS Southern Series events.

“Swift Springs is very innovative and has rapidly moved to the front of the market with new and innovative springs. We were the first in the industry to build a barrel spring, the spring design known as the Christmas Tree and many different progressive springs. We are currently working on new spring designs for the modified ranks with prototypes being tested as we speak,” said Simonett.

Simonetti noted that racers like the fact that they are at the track, and feels it is important to work closely with the racers, shock builders and chassis builders that give them valuable knowledge to make better springs. The Swift Springs dealer network has expanded with Motorstate, Racing Plus and Out-Pace Racing Products, and added Allgaier Motorsports, Karl Performance and Heintz Performance already in 2018.

“We offer the racers a unique advantage that is not offered by any other spring manufacturer in the motorsports industry,” Simonetti added. “That advantage is we make our own material. This is gives us the ability to control the entire process and quality of the spring.

About Swift Springs

All springs are not created equal, the diameters and spring rates can be similar, but the process of manufacturing springs plays a huge factor in how they will perform. Through our extensive knowledge in performance springs, we have perfected the process of manufacturing springs that will outperform our competitors.

With this in mind, we set out to produce a new material for coil springs: a proprietary steel alloy we call "HS5.TW". This material was created in order to maintain the 4 factors listed above, as well as achieving the fastest reaction speed possible to get compliance to the track surface conditions. Our springs are created with proprietary winding methods, as well as some other trade secrets focused on ensuring our springs separation from the standard market.

In the time since Swift Springs officially opened its doors in 1997, Swift Springs has dealt with many world class race teams in multitudes of different races including road racing, rally, off road, drift, autocross, pavement and dirt oval track, motorcycles, and more. Swift Springs has lifted many racers to a podium finish, and is still continuing to do so. With so much experience behind us, we feel confident that our springs will give you a leg up in any kind of race you participate in.
