Veteran racer Joe Duvall announced a new partnership this week with Pace Performance to supply the powerplants for the Club 91 racing team MB Customs dirt modifieds during the 2018 campaign.

“We started working with Pace last year after we got our first engine,” said Duvall. “We got on this deal last year and our results immediately got better.”

Duvall, 45, is owner and operator of Duvall Electric in Claremore, Okla., and has more than a quarter-century of experience racing everything from flat track motorcycles to battling the Best of the Best in dirt modified racing on the USMTS trail.

Utilizing the Chevrolet Performance CT525 crate engines from Pace Performance, Duvall believes he’s found the perfect potion to go as fast as he needs without spending more than he wants to.

“Honestly, I can afford to run anything I want to, and we as races are always desiring more and more and more” he added. “But it’s staggering how much cheaper it is to run.”

Duvall is currently among the top 15 in both the USMTS Hunt for the Casey’s Cup and Summit USMTS Southern Series points standings entering the “Showdown at Canyon” this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 12-14, at the Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz.

Utilizing the CT525 crate engine, rookie USMTS racer Ethan Dotson captured his first series win last month driving a second car in Duvall’s Club 91 stable.
