USMTS Fall Jamboree set for Hamilton County Speedway

WEBSTER CITY, IA (July 11, 1999) - The Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City will be the site for the first annual Fall Jamboree. The dates will be October 6-9. This race will be a non- sanctioned race. The rules for this race will be the same for the most part.

Qualifying will be the biggest difference for this race. The other change for this race will be the claim rule. The claim rule for this race will be $550 or exchange. There will be a practice for any cars on Tuesday night starting at 6pm. Any cars are welcome to practice.

Wednesday will be time trials for the modifieds and the stock cars. Tender Heart Treasures from Omaha will be the sponsor for the Modifieds. The top two times will be guaranteed a starting spot in Saturdays A-main. The top two times will also pick up $500 each. Time trials are not mandatory, but will also guarantee you a second row inside starting spot in Thursdays heat races. There will be no passing points used for the modifieds on this Jamboree.

Also running will be the Stock Cars and the Hobby Stocks. The total purse for the race will be over $130,000. If interested in being part of the biggest race in the history of Iowa for modifieds call Todd Staley at 515-832-6321.

The motels are filling up fast so make your reservations today. The sooner that you enter your car the better chance you will have at getting your number. The main event on Saturday will pay $10,000 to win and $1000 to start. The purse will be guaranteed. Everyone will take home money from some race as all races will pay money. The D-main on Saturday pays $150 to start
