Fall Jamboree to kick off Tuesday at Hamilton County Speedway


<p>WEBSTER CITY, IA (October 4, 1999) - The First Annual Fall Jamboree will get underway this Tuesday, October 5, with a practice session for all cars. The practice will be free to the public and all race fans are welcome to come on out to the track and see some of the racers in town for the racing action. The racing action will start on Wednesday night, October 6, with time trials for both the stock cars and USMTS modifieds. Also running will be the local econo stock class. Racing action will get underway at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. The econo stock class will run a full program with the top five from the A-main transferring to Saturday&rsquo;s $500-to-win A-main. The stock cars&#39; time trials are being sponsored by Mac Tools/T&amp;S Tool Sales from Webster City. The top two in the stock car time trials will each receive $300. The USMTS modifieds are being sponsored by Tender Heart Treasures from Omaha, Neb. The top two modifieds will each receive $500. The racing action will get underway on Thursday night, October 7, at 6 p.m. with the USMTS modifieds, stock cars and hobby stocks all running a full program. The top five from the A-main will transfer to Saturday&rsquo;s A-main. The racing action will again start at 6 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, October 8 and 9, with all classes on the slate with a full program. The total purse for all four days of racing action is over $130,000. This will be the biggest race ever to come to the Hamilton County area. There are already over 180 cars entered for the racing action. Entries have been received from 13 states, with Iowa having the most in the USMTS modified class. The winner of Saturday&#39;s A-main in the hobby stocks will receive the $1,000 paycheck. The winner from the stock cars will get $2,000 and the USMTS modified winner will receive $10,000. All drivers that start the A-main in the USMTS modifieds are guaranteed to make at least $1,000. Reserved tickets are available for this event and these can be purchased at anytime.
