Jones pockets $10,000 with Fall Jamboree triumph


<p>WEBSTER CITY, IA (October 9, 1999) - A total of 87 modifieds, 39 stock cars, 44 hobby stocks and 18 econos raced during the Fall Jamboree. Ron Jones of Zimmerman, Minn., captured another USMTS feature win, along with $10,000. In stock car action, Denny Stoneburner of Boone, Iowa, lost a tire coming for checkered flag and Scott Williams passed him as they came across the finish line five-wide. Good racing and good weather with a total of $120,000 paid out to all racers during the weekend. Make plans to attend the 2nd Annual Fall Jamboree, Oct. 3-7, 2000.
