United States Modified Touring Series adds bonus money to Nebraska Swing


<p>DESHLER, NE (May 19, 2000) &mdash; The United States Modified Touring Series has added a bonus to all drivers that race with the USMTS in the Nebraska swing May 23-25. These races will be held at Thayer County Speedway Deshler on Tuesday May 23rd. The series will head back north to Eagle Raceway in Lincoln (Eagle) on Wednesday. The series will end the three-race swing at US 30 Speedway in Columbus on Thursday. With other area tracks scheduling races on the same night USMTS has found sponsors to offer bonus money to drivers. This bonus money will be awarded to all drivers that race all three races with the USMTS. Any driver that fails to qualify for one A-main during the three-night swing will receive a bonus of $100 cash. All races will pay $2,000 to win and all drivers that qualify for the A-main will be guaranteed $200 to start the A-main. This will be the first ever three-race swing in Nebraska for the USMTS and should bring some of the best modified drivers in the U.S. Some of the expected drivers to be on hand for the racing action include Iowa&#39;s Kelly Shryock, Jeremy Mills, John Logue, John VanDenBerg, Bruce Hanford, Corey Dripps and Rich Smith; Illinois&#39; Marty Thompson and Kevin Peters; Missouri&#39;s Dean Wray, Mark Dotson, Jim Shereck and Kerry Davis; Kansas&#39; Darrick Klima, John Allen, Dan Daniels and Tom Charles; Minnesota&#39;s Mark Noble, Ron Jones, Tommy Myer and Tim Donlinger; and Nebraska&#39;s own John Anderson, Steve Kosiski, Joe Kosiski, Kyle Berck and Johnny Saathoff, plus many, many more.
