Swift Springs rewards top national, local USMTS competitors in 2018

Officials from the USMTS are pleased to announce announced that Swift Springs will continue its involvement with the series for the 2019 racing season.

Swift Springs will once again continue with a dual contingency program where the winner of each main event will receive a certificate valued at $99 toward the purchase of their spring of choice. The company will also return with the Highest Finishing Local Award which gives the same award to the local driver that is the highest finishing driver.

“We believe at Swift Springs that in order to help the local racer that want to attend the USMTS races there needs to be something extra in it for them,” said Frank Simonetti, Motorsports Director for Swift Springs. “This is a way to give back to the local guy that has decided to come out to battle some of the greatest drivers in the country. This worked very well last year and we’re pleased to offer this again in 2019.

At the end of the year, the USMTS National Champion and USMTS Grant Junghans Rookie of the Year will also receive a certificate for a set of four springs.

New in 2019 will be the Swift Springs Four Corner Award. At six of the crown jewel events this year, the winner will be awarded a certificate that will give them four springs of their choice.

“The USMTS has some great marquee events and we wanted to do something in addition to what we have been doing at the normal races,” Simonetti added. “The car counts are always higher and this gives the winner a little bit more loot to haul away with the win.”

Again this year, Swift Springs will also contribute cash to the year-end points funds for USMTS competitors.
