TRAVEL ALERT: JACKSON MOTOR SPEEDWAY


The bridge is out on Old Byram Road between Florence-Byram road and the entrance to the track. If you are coming from I-55 South or Florence-Byram Road you will need to take the east side frontage road north.

Trucks pulling trailers will need to go about 2 miles and take a right onto Old Byram Road, this will be the first crossover of I-55. Travel south along Old Byram Road about 2 miles and the entrance to the track will be on the left.

Cars can follow the detour signs which will have you drive about 1 mile north on the frontage road and then take a right onto Bounds Road and then travel along Bounds Road until it intersects Old Byram Road. At the intersection, take a right and go about 1 mile and the entrance to the track will be on the left.

If you are coming from I-55 North you will need to take the Elton Road exit, cross over the interstate and take the east side frontage road south to the next intersection which will be Old Byram Road. Turn left and travel south along Old Byram Road about 2 miles and the entrance to the track will be on the left.

Then on Saturday, April 6, the tireless touring titans hit the ‘House of Hook’ at the Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Miss. The final explosion takes place Sunday, April 7, in Columbus, Miss., at the super-fast Magnolia Motor Speedway for the first-ever visit to ‘The Mag’ by the USMTS.
