Hejna signs with JR Motorsports
ANKENY, Iowa - Al Hejna Racing is proud to welcome JR Motorsports to the race team. With ARH forced to find a new engine supplier for the 2008 season, JR Motorsports stepped up for the challenge.
"After Dick Boyer closed his shop, we needed to find someone in the area," Al Hejna stated. "Dan Nichols came in to run the shop at JR in Ankeny (Iowa). He came highly recommended by Dick, and after talking with him and the JR Motorsports, I think this will become a good working relationship."
The 2008 JDRF Tour begins soon for the Harris Auto Racing/Rookies Rockin' Sports Bar #7. The goal of this year's JDRF Tour is generate awareness and raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
