Sponsors step up big to support USMTS National Tour


WEBSTER CITY, Iowa (May 28, 2002) - Bob Pierce with Bob Pierce Race Cars has told USMTS that for the USMTS National Tour that will start next week at the Belleville Highbanks that the point winner for that swing will get a free Bob Pierce Chassis.

The USMTS has set up a separate point fund for the fifteen races in seventeen days swing.

USMTS will keep all points going, but will have separate points for this swing. The champion will receive a Bob Pierce Chassis for the win.

This will be a bare chassis and is valued at $2400. The champion will also receive some point money for the win. USMTS has several items that will be raffled off during this swing.

All the money from the raffle will go to the point fund for this swing. Harris Auto Racing from Lemars, IA has stepped up to the plate for this and will give away a complete light weight moly rear end housing with Billett Hubs and Aluminum Drive Flanges. This will be a complete rear end housing.

The value for this is $1145.

Star Track Race Car Bodies Lemars, IA will also give away a complete body of choice to a driver.

This is a $425 value. Holley Performance will give away a performance carburetor with cfm of choice.

The value for this is $900.

Performance Bodies from Cedar Falls, IA will also give a body of choice away. This is a $500 value. Several wheel companies will give four wheels away.

Aero Race Wheels Armstrong, IA, Diamond Race Wheels Milwaukee, WI, and Wayne Larson Racing Wheels will each give four wheels in the raffle. All valued about $300 each. Wilwood Engineering will give four aluminum calipers away.

These are USMTS legal in 2002.

These calipers are a $450 value.

Anderson Signs in Omaha, NE will give away a $250 certificate towards a graphics job.

KEVKO will give away a 1092 oil pan $195 value. TCI will also be giving something away we have not heard as of today what, but will be doing something. KSE Racing Products, Kosiski Racing Parts, Kluhsman Racing Components will all give away certificates. Dean Schroeder from Schroeder Racing Products will give away two barrels of fuel in the raffle.

Other companies also sponsoring this tour are Hughes Race Cars, R.A. Benson Motorsports, Belleville Motorsports, Andy’s Liquor, Spaulding Motors, Kraft Kars, Tennison Brothers, Home Pride Companies, Krohn Farms, Pro Environmental, STS Trailers, Land Resource Management. More sponsors will be added and USMTS will update when deals are worked out.

The list of sponsors have all put cash in for the point fund for this swing. USMTS wants to thank all sponsors that have stepped up to the plate for this big modified swing and hopes to see everyone at some of these races.
