Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement

We are monitoring communications from the U.S. Department of Health as well as those states where the USMTS has future events, on concerns with the COVID-19 virus. Currently there are no plans to alter the 2020 schedule. We will continue to keep a watchful eye and if any changes are warranted, we will make an announcement on our website at usmts.com and our social media channels.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recommending at this time that if you are among the sick and vulnerable—especially the elderly and those with suppressed immune systems—you should avoid large gatherings. If you are showing signs of flu-like symptoms you should consult with your doctor.

As many others have done, the USMTS urges everybody to use common sense: Wash your hands often and use hand sanitizer frequently; If you are sick, stay home; Avoid shaking hands for the time being and, finally, don't panic.

Many of the competitors, manufacturers, racetracks and their employees depend on support from the fans. That ticket to the races you paid for is the ticket that many others in our sport depend on to put food on the table for their families. And when racers buy tires and other products they are, in fact, contributing to the livelihood of those who work to bring them those products. In return, we promise to deliver the best product we can with the help of the Best of the Best in dirt modified racing providing the show.

Stay safe. Be well. Buckle up. We're going green this time around.
