DECORAH, Iowa – Rain has washed out Wednesday night's O'Reilly USMTS National Tour event at the Upper Iowa Speedway in Decorah, Iowa. With a heavy shower late in the afternoon, the track surface could not be prepared in time to meet the city's weeknight curfew.

The 4th Annual Summer Challenge has been postponed to this Saturday, Aug. 16, and will now be the sixth race of the Casey's General Stores Hunt for the O'Reilly USMTS National Championship rather than the fourth.

The Upper Iowa Speedway is a 1/4-mile semi-banked clay oval located 1.8 miles east of US 52 on SR 9, then 1.0 mile northwest on Montgomery St., then northeast on E. But before the rugged road warriors return to Decorah, two more shows are on the to-do list.

On Thursday, the Steele County Speedway in Owatonna, Minn., will be hosting thousands of fun-seekers at the Steele County Free Fair while the fast 'n' nasty noisy boys with fast toys will be shredding the sweeping half-mile oval. Friday will find the O'Reilly USMTS National Tour at the exciting and unpredictable Tri-Oval Speedway in Fountain City, Wis.

Race fans can pick up $2-off discount coupons at both Casey's General Stores locations in Owatonna on Thursday. On Friday, coupons will be available at Casey's locations in Rochester and Sparta, Wis. Kelly Shryock will be on hand at Casey's General Store to meet and greet fans at the 590 State Ave. location from 12-2 p.m. On Friday, Mark Noble will make an appearance at the Casey's General Store located at 1600 Eastwood Rd. SE in Rochester, Minn., from 12-2 p.m.

The Casey's General Stores Hunt for the O'Reilly USMTS National Championship points has Shryock ahead of Zack VanderBeek by five points (317 to 312) while Jon Tesch is third with 288. Al Hejna is fourth with 265 points, followed by John Allen (262), Dereck Ramirez (259), Tim Donlinger (258), defending O'Reilly USMTS National Champion Jason Krohn (253), Ron Ver Beek (249) and Bryan Rowland (243).
