Park Jeff USMTS postponed to June 15

Park Jeff USMTS postponed to June 15

After discussions between track and series officials, it was decided to postpone the Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey’s portion of the Memorial Day racing program at the Park Jefferson Speedway.

With many of them traveling long distances, several USMTS drivers were already making plans to head home due to the forecast and the rain-out of Saturday and Sunday’s events too.

But there is a silver lining.

The 9th Annual USMTS River City Rumble is rescheduled for Monday, June 15, with USRA B-Mods joining the show. More details including times and prices will be announced soon. This fits in nicely with other huge events that week.

The Pepsi South Dakota Sprint Car Nationals featuring 360 Sprint Cars, 305 Sprint Cars and Sport Modifieds is still on the schedule for Monday at Park Jeff.

Fans who have purchased advance tickets and no longer plan to come with the cancellation of the USMTS program can receive a refund by emailing adam@parkjeff.com prior to the start of tomorrow's event.

Up next for the dirt-slinging USMTS touring titans is a four-race swing through Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma:

• Wednesday, June 3 – Lucas Oil Speedway, Wheatland, Mo.
• Thursday, June 4 – 81 Speedway, Park City, Kan.
• Friday, June 5 – Humboldt Speedway, Humboldt, Kan.
• Saturday, June 6 – Tri-State Speedway, Pocola, Okla.

Currently, the 2020 schedule for the Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey’s is highlighted by 44 nights of racing at 28 unique dirt ovals for the 22nd season of competition for the world’s Best of the Best in dirt modified racing.
