Dodge County Speedway makes Labor Day Weekend two-day show
KASSON, Minn. -- Fitzpatrick Promotions promoters of Dodge County Speedway have announced that the Labor Day Weekend race scheduled for Sunday August 31st will now have a second day of racing added to it. USMTS is scheduled to race at Owatonna, MN on Friday and Deer Creek Speedway on Saturday and Kasson on Sunday and Fitzpatrick Promotions has also added Monday to the schedule. USMTS two-day shows are different from most, as two complete shows will be run. Friday, Saturday and Sunday will all pay $2000 to the winner of the main events, while Mondays race will pay the winner $3000. We are currently working on a four-day pass so fans will be able to catch their favorite driver every night of this final big swing of the season in Southern Minnesota. The last race at Kasson saw fifty exciting laps go caution free with local favorite Nate Wasmund picking up his first ever USMTS win. A record 72 modifieds checked in for the racing action on that Sunday evening. These four-days fans should see a good turnout of cars as the season starts to wind down. More than $50,000 in purse money will be up for grabs on Labor Day Weekend. For more information call the USMTS office at 515-832-7944.
