MCCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. -- USMTS’s first appearance in Nebraska for 2004 is on as planned. Friday will start a 7:00 and hot laps beginning at 6:30. Pits open at 4:00. Saturday’s races will start at 5:00. Pits will be open at 2:00 and hot laps starting at 4:30. There will be a complete and separate show each night.

Also appearing with the USMTS will be Cruisers and Open Stock Cars. $2000 to win on Friday for the Modified, $200 for Open Stock Cats, and $100 to win for the Cruisers. On Saturday, $3000 to win for the Modified, $400 to win for the open Stock Cars and $100 to win for the Cruisers. As to some questions that have been asked, Open Stock Cars must have a wheel base of 107”, a full frame and no racing tires, as to the official’s discretion.
