USMTS to kick off National Tour at Corning
CORNING, Iowa -- The United States Modified Touring Series will kick off its third USMTS National Tour starting Monday June 7th at a new speedway for the USMTS with a visit to the Adams County Speedway in Corning, IA. This will be the first ever visit to Corning and USMTS is looking very forward to making a stop at this speedway as we have heard so much about this speedway in the past. The local drivers at this speedway are very fast and should make for a very exciting race with all the USMTS travelers expected for this race. This year the National Tour will consist of 17 nights of racing in a twenty day period. The tour will start in Corning and move to the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, IA before having the first travel day off on Wednesday June 9th. The series will move to the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN for the second stop of the season. On Wednesday June 16th the series will make its second appearance of the season to the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, IA. On Thursday the series will move to the Bentz GM Country Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, MO for the second stop of the season. On Friday the series will move to the Bolivar Speedway in Bolivar, MO for the first ever stop at this speedway. Saturday June 19th will be another first as the series will make a stop at the Lebanon Speedway in Lebanon, MO.
