Dripps prepares for 19 races in 21 days

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Corey Dripps Racing prepares for a wild nineteen race swing spread over twenty-one days throughout the Midwest. The new BC Chassis, designed by Specialty Motorsports, Inc., will travel to Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, and North Dakota throughout the month of June.

"This will be a good test for the new chassis," stated CDR owner/manager Rick Dripps. Rick and the rest of the CDR team continue to work on building spare parts for the twenty-one day trek.

"It's been fast right out of the box," added driver Corey Dripps. "Everywhere we've gone with the new chassis, we've been fast, just unlucky."

CDR is working on gathering new associate sponsors for the up coming USMTS swing. 52 dates are on the schedule over the next 3 months. This is a big step for the boys as it will be the first time they've planned to travel to all the dates during that swing, so a few new associate sponsors would really help.

Timing might be right for a new sponsor as the American Diecast Company has contacted CDR and a Corey Dripps modified will be out this summer. New sponsors could still end up on this diecast. Packages may be more affordable then someone might realize. Interested parties can contact Rick or Corey at Specialty Motorsports, Inc. at 319-345-6009.

The first two dates on the nineteen date trek kicks off in Iowa. Adams County Speedway (Corning, IA) will host the first date on Monday, June 7th. On Tuesday, June 8th, the USMTS will return to the Hamilton County Speedway (Webster City, IA). RaceRPM.com will have "Live Audio Updates" from the Hamilton County Speedway race at www.RaceRPM.com/Live.

After a travel day on Wednesday, June 8th, Jamestown Speedway (Jamestown, ND) will welcome the USMTS stars for the first of four races in North Dakota. The next day will see a stop at Dakotah Speedway (Mandan, ND), and then two days at Nodak Speedway (Minot, ND).

Originally a travel day, Monday June 14th will be a make-up date at Murray County Speedway (Slayton, MN). On Friday, May 28th, rains moved in on the racing action during the USMTS heat races washing out the night of racing.
